Design and implementation of education and training

On graduating this university, the student is expected to be able to demonstrate adequate knowledge in 10 specified areas, and thus the program is outcome-centered. Each body of knowledge to be mastered is presented step-by-step as the student progresses through the 6-year program. Clinical training is commenced at an early stage, with the student being officially designated a “Student Doctor” in the final years. The student is expected to learn through active engagement in clinical practice both domestically and abroad.

  1. Educational objectives have been established for each year of the 6-year course and learning outcomes are formatively evaluated in detail.
  2. High-quality holistic education is provided, requiring the student to improve their knowledge of basic medicine and its connection with clinical practice.
  3. The student is encouraged to play an active role in the learning process.
  4. Plenty of time is devoted to clinical training, with the opportunity provided for actual participation in the provision of medical treatment.
